Accessible Art is a free family orientated art event for children and youth who live with complex medical, physical and developmental needs. Materials were provided thanks to our amazing sponsor @opusartsupplies

During the event participants had the opportunity to produce a collaborative piece with the support of other artists!

Participants were able to take their work home, or submit for the Opus Kids Art Exhibition at Harbour Centre!

Parents, siblings & caregivers were welcome! !

Ben, the young man who is in the CBC news clip inspired Steph to create this program back in 2016 when his mom commissioned her to do a painting for him and she ended up doing feet painting with him instead and came up with the idea to create Accessible Art. A few months later she was producing it inside the BC Childrens Hospital and now has taken the program into the community.
